Sharps Bros MB47 DIY Pistol kit with DAG-13 Adjustable Gas System-Ace Series, Do it Yourself kit has all of the hard work done. You just need to add the finishing touches! This kit starts off with Original Military Surplus Romanian Model 1963 kits coupled with high quality US parts to create an extremely robust build. Use of the Definitive Arms DAG-13 gas block/sight block combo and the JMac Customs Cold Hammer Forged 7.62x39mm 12.5″ barrel, threaded 14mmx1 LH and nitride bore,  reduces the sight radius from AKM length to the equivalent of an AK104. Ultimately yielding, when completed, an excellent handling, versatile and reliable firearm. Atlantic Arms properly installs the barrel to the Sharps Bros MB47 Receiver and each kit is head spaced, as well as checked for proper component alignment. Atlantic also installs the side mount optic rail, for mounting tractional Kalashnikov style optics and the SBA3 Brace for stablizing your pistol once completed.

The Definitive Arms DAG-13 allows for fine tuning of gas entering your system for recoil management, cyclic rate, shooting suppressed and weapon longevity. This part is a restrictive gas adjustment system so it does not vent extra gas, it actually will prevent surplus gas from getting into the gas system. Thus, resulting in a cleaner operation and better sound reduction, especially while shooting suppressed! This may also improve accuracy by reducing amount of gas impingement inside of block on low settings.

Since this is not a completed firearm it will ship to your FFL dealer designated as a Receiver, even though the barrel is attached. You will need to install fire control complete with springs, a safety selector, and furniture components. Please be mindful these are Military Surplus kits, they will show character and usage but are fully functional and solid. You can leave the metal surface with the original patina or refinish for a new look.

This is great way to save money and customize your build with the furniture and metal finish of your choice. Most of the parts used are Original Romanian import and the U.S. parts are the receiver, barrel, and gas block. Please be aware of this during your build process and make certain you are 922R compliant when the build is complete. Please note metal finish may vary from kit to kit. We do not offer any special request for markings, years, metal patina, matching numbers, etc.
