The Palmetto State Armory GF-5  Barrel Assembly is a revolutionary AK-47 rifle that uses all new precision-machined parts. Just add your favorite furniture and your ready to go. To ensure a high quality product, the prototype was rigorously tested. We torture tested it to 10,000 rounds. We didn’t stop at a good AK-47. We kept improving, and are proud to announce the PSAK-47 Gen5 Hammer Forged (GF5) rifle. It features a hammer-forged barrel and bolt, carrier, and front trunnion. This barrel is a proprietary mixture of hammer-forged chromemoly vanadium and hammer-forged chromemoly vanadium that FN has created. It is known as “Machine Gun Steel” because it is used in FN’s M249-M240 weapons. The steel is made more durable by the hammer forging process. To ensure the durability an AK47 is know for, this 16″ barrel is magnetic particle inspected. To signify the new GF5 hammer-forged model, the bolt carrier and front trunnion are engraved with GF5.

You will need the following parts to complete this firearm, 2 Axis Pins, Fire Control Group(hammer, hammer spring, trigger, disconnector, disconnector spring),  Firearm Control Group Retaining Plate or Shepherd’s Hook,  Pistol Grip nut & Screw, Furniture set(Upper and Lower Handguards, Pistol Grip and Buttstock or Brace depending on the host configuration) Magazine.
